US Shipping Update
Share
An update on US shipping.
What Changed Last September
In September 2025, the US updated its import regulations to require all international shipments to arrive on DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms — duties and taxes must be paid upfront by the sender. Shipments without pre-paid duties are rejected at the border.
This ruled out Posti, Finland's national postal carrier, which we had used previously. Posti does not support DDP shipping to the US. The carriers that do — UPS, FedEx — operate at a higher price point, which is why US shipping rates increased last year.
Shipping to the US Today
US orders ship via FedEx DDP. The current rate is €67, which includes all duties and import taxes — there are no additional charges when your order arrives. FedEx provides tracking from dispatch to delivery.
- You pay once at checkout — no customs bill on delivery
- Full tracking from Finland to your door
We're continuing to look at ways to bring the shipping cost down further and will post an update if anything changes.
